IMPROVED CONNECTIVITY
The growth of MRT stations on the Group Range (CCL) and Thomson East Shore Range (TEL) is expected to boost connectivity in the central area. The new property models, industrial areas, and different mix uses in the forthcoming integrated developments at the Outram and Orchard MRT interchanges provides more city residing options.
Biking in the city middle may improve with the addition of a 5km long biking system to support cyclists and improve accessibility. Every one may benefit from the connectivity whilst the downtown town transitions from the car-centric to a biking and walking-friendly environment.
MORE GREEN SPACE CREATED
More green space is in the centre of the River Area growth plan. The master plan requires the structure of homes while keeping the existing mature trees and the general natural environment.
The region is going to be shot with a linear park. It will connect Water Pit citizens to the Alexandra Canal Linear Park and Ellie Seng Park. In addition, the URA is participating with the National Areas Board to develop new green rooms and areas in the city. New areas, such as Armenian Street Park and Jubilee Park, are already being integrated the area.
Water Valley citizens can look forward to a far more considerable system of activities services, parks, corridors, and natural spaces. Over 1000 ha will undoubtedly be dedicated to parking connectors and areas connected by recreational corridors in the area. Significantly more than 90% of the citizens will stay within strolling distance of a park.
ARTS AND CULTURAL PRECINCT EXPANDED
To improve and celebrate Singapore’s heritage, the arts, culture, and history precinct will be expanded. The wealthy heritage of Chinatown, Kampong Glam, and Little India is going to be enhanced through collaborative attempts with firms and local communities. People can get more experiences within walking distance as a result of the new community spots associated with cultural arts and culture precincts.
